Although both are automotive protective products, they differ fundamentally:
Automotive films – primarily applied to the inner side of the glass – are designed for thermal insulation, impact resistance, and UV protection;
PPF (Paint Protection Film) – mainly applied to the vehicle's paint surface, typically made of polyurethane (TPU) – is designed to prevent scratches, withstand stone impacts, repair minor scratches, and preserve the paint's gloss.
